When you hear “AI,”
what do you picture?
Technology? Robot? Scary? Smart? Computer?
These were some of the words people gave when asked what came to mind when they heard “AI.” I find that list interesting because it says a lot about how we see the technology: powerful, unfamiliar, and very much about what machines can do.
But why can’t AI be beautiful?
Now we have more possibilities
AI has changed the way I design and expanded what I can achieve. I get to explore ideas that would have taken much longer before, and turn possibilities into working products.
At the same time, having so many possibilities makes me care even more about what is worth making. There is a certain kind of beauty in making the right choice when I could have made a hundred others.
Knowing what to frame
That is why I chose a lattice window as the visual language for this portfolio.
A garden can hold an entire landscape, while a lattice window only shows a part of it.
Today, we have more possibilities than ever. Beauty comes from what I choose to frame, and how I bring it to users.
In my spare time
I’m fascinated by how beauty can travel beyond language and culture. I sing and play guitar in a rock band, and even when the audience doesn’t understand the lyrics in Japanese or Chinese, we can still feel the same rhythm together.
I’m also a big movie fan. I find beauty in how music, stories, and cinematography can come together to create something timeless.
Let’s create something beautiful together!
